Samsung Scholarship Program 2012

Every year 25 individuals are offered to take part in the program for an engineer and an MBA students from different parts of the world.

GSP (M.S. Program) through Seoul National University (SNU)
GSP (M.B.A. Program) through SungKyunKwan University (SKK GSB)

The MBA program in Korea. Selected GSP Global Scholarship Program students currently study for three semesters.
The significance of the program can also be seen from the wide range of students who, as it was already in the first years, came from the leading companies including
Cheil Communications, Amore Pacific, Woori Bank, POSCO, SK, Kyobo, Everland, Bosch, KTF and several Samsung subsidiaries.

Samsung Scholarship Program 2012 Benefits

All tuition expenses are covered by Samsung
Monthly living allowance (approximately USD 1000 per month)
Dormitory support for living
Two round-trip plane tickets between his or her mother country and Korea during the course (once a year)

Eligibility for Samsung Scholarship Program 2012

Applicant should be a Citizen of India.
Applicant should be among the top 10 % of the Class graduating from a premier institute.
B.Tech/BE in the field of Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics, Instrumentation or Communication Engineering.
For Undergraduates: Should be in their Final year of Bachelor Degree and Complete the graduation by April ~ May.
For B.Tech/B.E Graduates: Applicant Up to 2 years of work experience.

Conditions of the Samsung Scholarship Program 2012

Upon completion of studies at SNU, the scholarship recipient is required to work at SEC (in Korea) for 2 years in an appointment related to his or her major.
After 2 years of employment at SEC, he or she may continue to work at SEC Korea or return to his or her home country to work for a local subsidiary of SEC, upon mutual agreement between him or her and SEC.

Eligibility for Samsung Scholarship Program 2012

Applicant should be a Citizen of India.
Applicant should be among the top 10 % of the Class graduating from a premier institute.
Applicant with the Bachelor Degree in the field of Commerce/Humanities/ Management/Administration.
For Undergraduates: Must be in their Final year and complete their graduation by May ~ June.
For Graduates: Bachelors with 0 – 2 years of work experience in the field of marketing & related areas. Even Applicant with experience in related field from Engineering Background can also apply for the Program.

Conditions of the Samsung Scholarship Program 2012

Upon completion of studies, the scholarship recipient is required to work at SEC (in Korea) for 1-2 year and next 2-3 years at the Samsung Subsidiary in the Home Country (in India).
After 4 years of employment at Samsung, he or she may continue to work at Samsung upon mutual agreement between him or her and SEC.

After graduation, participants are offered various responsibilities at Samsung Electronics and although some elected to follow a different career path and many participants stayed with SEC.
