The Cadriff University first Started thier field on October 24, 1883. Royal Charter was formally started and established a new institution by 1884, and its named at the time University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire. Small premises on Newport Road housed 13 academic staff in 12 departments, 102 full-time degree students and 49 part-time students.Today, Cardiff University is home to more than 28,000 students and 6,000 staff in highly advanced, well-equipped buildings, forming an elegant part of the city’s striking civic centre. Cardiff is now acknowledged as one of Britain’s leading teaching and research universities, held in high esteem both nationally and internationally. In 2007, Professor Sir Martin Evans of the School of Biosciences, was named joint winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his role in the discovery of embryonic stem cells, which has opened new possibilities in the fight against countless diseases. His achievement not only underlines the University’s world standing but also the far-reaching benefits of Cardiff’s research and teaching. Teaching at the University was given the highest possible award in the last UK Government review. The University’s degree programmes are also recognised by more than 40 professional bodies.

 

Cardiff University International Scholarships 2012, For the recognition of the outstanding talented international student , Cardiff University has launched a new, highly prestigious International Scholarship Fund, designed to attract the brightest students to the University from September 2012. The Scholarship is available with wide range of academic levels,Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research. In addition to offering its own scholarship programme, Cardiff University is also pleased to offer a number of new scholarships in association with partner organisations.

Eligibility for Cardiff University International Scholarships 2012

 

  • The Candidate must be Undergone full time undergraduate Bachelor of Science or Arts degree enrolled in an accredited college.
  • There is no restriction to other citizen.
  • Your Offer letter might be confirmed as Overseas Student for fee paying purposes is neccessary.

Timeline for Cardiff University International Scholarships 2012

 

Candidate should submit their application form by : Midnight (UK time) Sunday, 15thJuly.
Incomplete application forms will not be considered for admission.
